Boys’ Basketball (Kellie Foy)

The varsity team competed against Lake Park at Hinsdale South in the IHSA Regionals tournament on Monday, winning 51-39. The boys went on to play Willowbrook on Wednesday, losing 71-46. The team’s season ended with an overall record of 16-12.

Special Olympics (Kellie Foy)

The teams have the IHSA State tournament on March 17.

Hockey (Myra Bajwa)

Hockey starts the IHSA State playoffs with varsity beating the DuPage Stars on Sunday and advancing to the quarterfinals, winning 9-4. JV is facing off against Lane Tech Green on Monday.

Indoor Track (Tyler Burleyson)

The team competed at Plainfield East last Thursday, where junior Pryce Giwa-Osagie went 6’3” in the high jump. Two days later, the team traveled to Purdue University for the West Lafayette Individuals Invite. Junior Temi Osobamiro placed fifth overall in the 200 meter dash, with teammate and junior Nikola Maric close behind in sixth. Senior Rokas Gudinavicius placed fourth overall in the 400 meter dash. Senior Charlie Schaefer took second in the 800 meter, and in the mile: junior Michael Varzino placed first overall and senior Derek Roberts placed third. In the two mile, senior Ralph Papa finished fifth.
