Boys’ Basketball By Connor Smith
This past week, the varsity boys started their season by playing at St. Charles East in its annual Thanksgiving tournament. Despite losses to Downers Grove South (62-81) and St. Charles North (46-48) on Tuesday and Wednesday (respectively), they got their first win on Friday in a close 67-64 victory over Plainfield East. This upcoming week, all teams will officially start their season by playing on the road at Neuqua. The sophomore team and varsity will face the Wildcats Friday, while the junior varsity, sophomore “B”, and Freshman teams get their turn Saturday.

Girls’ Basketball By Kellie Foy
This past week, the sophomore girls basketball team fought hard, but lost its game against Kaneland High School. The varsity team won its game against Rockford Auburn, 61-48. However, the team fell short to Bartlett High school, losing 67-47. This week, they play Neuqua Valley on the Wildcat court on Thursday, and play at Naperville North on Satuday.

Boys’ Wrestling By Peter Hinds
The team played at a tournament over the weekend at Barrington, and had seven guys rank, including senior Bobby Papiernik, who placed 4th at the invite.

Boys’ Swim and Dive By Zainie Qureshi
Boy’s swim started their season with their first practices this past week. They will attend their first meet this upcoming Saturday.
