Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
This was the first game I played last summer. School had let out, and I arrived home to a brand new game to play. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is both a surprising enjoyment and letting defeat for Zelda fans. I found enjoyment for a few hours from fan service galore. The character designs and cut scenes gave off a luxurious vibe. It was fun to recognize characters from across the franchise. Though, my positivity for the game ends there. The game is worth buying to experience the cutscenes, but it is a pain to play. As someone who never found a lot of fun in the fighting aspect of Zelda, the one on one hundred battles bored me. I understand this game is part of a spin-off series done by a third party developer, but I expected more from the franchise of puzzles and exploration.
