We Bare Bears

We Bare Bears

We Bare Bears (2015-)

Following after the popular cartoons that dominated Cartoon Network over the past five years, We Bare Bears was taken in with cautious arms. The show follows three brother bears, Grizz, Pan Pan, and Ice Bear who try their best to navigate and fit into human society. The three bears go on fun adventures that often end with them learning something new about the world they live in or a lesson that can be integrated into anyone’s life. They usually end up realizing that they have each other to lean on in times of need. We Bare Bears is not very plot heavy, and has a specific theme to each episode such as making new human friends, going grocery shopping or even just cleaning their home. It is lighthearted, cute, and an overall fun show to watch. The variety of characters and lessons learned throughout the show is valuable and what makes the show so enjoyable to begin with.

We Bare Bears is still airing on Cartoon Network and it was recently announced that the series will be receiving a Movie sometime in 2020 as well as a spin-off series following the three bears as cubs. These additions are highly anticipated and hopefully We Bare Bears will continue to be the same show that has many smiling over a bunch of cute bears living their leisurely lives.

The last ten years have been a wild ride for the world of cartoons. They were a staple to many people’s childhoods, and now the majority of them have ended, making way for a new decade of hopefully beautifully written and drawn animation. It was an exciting decade, but it is over and making way for a new era of cartoons.
