Q: In your opinion what is the importance of women’s history?
A: The importance of women’s history is to show how much women had to go through but more importantly I believe that women’s history shows how much we take for granted.
Q:Have you ever faced any setbacks for being a female?
A: The struggles I faced as a female is probably more biologically related. As a female wrestler, I’m not as strong as the average male which frustrates me but there is not too much I can do about it. Socially, I think there aren’t too many things I could point out. I usually have an easier time getting along with other guys.
Q: How have you overcome those challenges?
A: I try to lift as much as I can to close the gap of strength that is in between men and women.
Q: Why is it so important to inform younger girls about their importance and voice in society?
A: So they can then be inspired to do greater things and not be scared of limitations.
