Skin by Sabrina Carpenter
I love Sabrina Carpenter since her acting days on “Girl Meets World” so her music career is no question to me. I love it all. Since the pandemic, it seemed to me that Carpenter had taken a break and I did not know when she would release new music until the sudden release of Skin on Jan. 22. Although Skin was getting controversy over its meaning, I think the song sends a great message: Do not let people get under your skin. Personally, I take this song as a motivation for self-confidence. Whether that is after breakups or drama, you should not let that get under your skin and allow yourself to dive into the pain and sorrow from that.
