Under Attack by ABBA
ABBA was first introduced to me through the Mamma Mia! franchise where the move musicals take advantage of a number of the Sweedish pop group’s classic hits. After seeing the first movie my sister would play every ABBA song ever created in the car on repeat. As you could imagine I amassed a rather strong resentment towards the group since now their songs echoed in my head daily. However, I made an exception with this song. It came on in the car thanks to my sister’s extensive playlist. This time, I found myself falling in love with the upbeat and frantic notion of the song. Now, this is a song that gets me distracted from schoolwork and causes me to put on a performance to no one other than my empty room.
