What are your plans for after high school?
I will be attending college at Bradley University. I really like how connected the school is and how close it is to home. I will be double majoring in sociology and psychology so I can eventually become a therapist.
What are you looking forward to in college?
I am super excited to meet new people and get to know them. I am really excited about the social gatherings and exposure to a new environment.
What are you going to miss most about high school?
Well, for one, falling down the stairs every day, but I will also really miss my connections with my teachers. A lot of teachers have become my friends honestly. We talk every day, and they have made me realize that school is a lot more than just waking up, going to school, and coming home. It is waking up and making new friends every day.
What is one memory you have from Metea?
All the events I was involved in during school for things like Women’s History month and just anything I did with service groups at our school. I also just remember whenever it was super cold outside and literally slipping and sliding into the building at seven in the morning.
What advice do you have for the younger grades?
Do not worry about the drama; you will forget about it in a year. Just make sure you are trying to have fun in your classes and just in general because it really matters. Your time in high school is going to fly by so make sure you enjoy it.
