Badminton (Grace Davidson)
The girls became sectional champions just before spring break, scored third place in doubles, and scored seventh place as a team overall in the state championship.
Boys Football (Max Berglind)
The football team had one match against Waubonsie. Metea had a lead on the Warriors late in the game but ultimately fell. The Mustangs’ next outing will be a home game against North on Saturday.
Boys Soccer (Tyler Perry)
The boys’ soccer team opened up the week with a tough matchup against Neuqua. The match ended off in overtime as Metea lost 2-1. The next matchup was a home game for the Mustangs against Streamwood. Metea could not gain any traction against the Sabres as they lost another tough one. The black and gold had one more game before spring break, and that was against an undefeated West Aurora. In another tough match, Metea was hit with another loss to a score of 3-1. Their next match is today against North at 6:30 p.m.
Girls Volleyball (Grace Davidson)
The girls lost an away match on March 23 against Neuqua, only winning the second set 25-23. The team has a home game Tuesday against Naperville Central and Wednesday against South Elgin.
