the WORLD by Nightmare
It does not get more classic than the opening to Death Note! The vocalist, Yomi, has a very emotionally captivating voice and the lyrics very much match the tone of the anime. Death Note‘s antagonist(or protagonist depending on who you’re rooting for) is named Light Yagami, and he finds himself ridding the world of criminals and ordering their death through writing their names in a book called a Death Note. He’s ugly and calculating, but most of all plays God, so, it’s fun to watch.
