What is the name of your clothing company?
We are The Phi Concept, and we just started up, so we’re trying to get the word out there. We started in April and made a website, business cards, and are working on getting on social media.
What is “The Phi Concept”?
Phi is symmetry and nature, and when you look at nature and others, you think it’s very different, but we’re really all same. We believe that we are all so diverse, but at the root of things we are all the same.
Why did you decide to start this?
My partner Yaswanth Nukasani, who already has his own business, and I thought it would be cool to do a clothing line. We can create our own concept, and that’s what I think is cool about creating our own company.
What types of clothes are you selling?
We are starting with t-shirts, but we want to expand to sweatshirts, pants, and hats. We also do customization, and we’ve had a lot of orders with that.
Is this something you want to do in the future?
I want to study accounting and finance in college, but [fashion merchandising] is still something I want to pursue.
