4EVER is a bedroom pop coming of age song that has very relatable lyrics and the story behind the song is for sure relatable to many teens of this age. To me, this song is all about wondering where my place is in this world and wondering if things will change for me or if I am just going to feel this way forever. Clairos’ thoughts behind this song are also similar. She wrote this the night before she left for college with the idea of wondering how things will change for her and if college was the right choice. 4EVER was my topmost played song last year and I am sure it will be one of my top five for this year. Their relatable lyrics and catchy melody will keep me listening for many years to come.
