Thumbs by Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter is one of the few singers in which I enjoy all her songs. The song “Thumbs” is part of the “Evolution” album, which is also one of my favorite albums from Carpenter’s discography. I thought that this song has the most interesting lyrics and unique beats. I thought that the family tree that was introduced in the beginning of the song was a fun puzzle to solve. I remember sitting and replaying that part of the song just so I can draw out the family tree that Carpenter sang about. If you enjoy pop and like listening to unique lyrics, you would definitely enjoy this song. Plus, who would have thought that the line skiddly-dee-da-dum can sound really good in a song.
