Pretty Hate Machine in general is an entire story that I do not understand nor pretend to, but Ringfinger is like the conclusion and it is like the best part of a story over and over if you listen to it on repeat. There’s a raw energy that is addicting in every one of Trent’s songs and I think he keeps his depression on a leash to write whatever he does.
