A critique of the cooking segment.
To coat your asparagus in olive oil directly on the cutting board is an insult to even he whom may not have been touched by the majestic hand of the culinary arts.
A far greater method to achieve a better tasting product, would be to place your asparagus in a strainer, then pour the olive oil directly into the strainer with the asparagus; proceed with tossing.
This will allow any excess oil to drain away from the asparagus, effectively making your finished snack firm yet tasty, opposed to turning your end product into green french-fries.
Please don’t abuse your cutting board like that. I hope this helps.
