The price of Fast Fashion: Taking a look at the impact of fashion culture
Fast fashion is the business model of today’s fashion industry. It is a business model that turns out more clothing for cheaper prices. While the concept may appear attractive, especially to students, the environmental and human costs are not. In the English Literature and Composition class, the viewing of the 2015 documentary, “The True Cost” gave students a look behind closed doors at the consequences of modern-day consumerism.
