Updates on IPSD school board, e-learning, TCD virtual open house and clubs.

IPSD School Board (Jessica Velazquez)

Metea will host the Board of Education meeting tonight at 7 p.m. following COVID-19 restrictions. The school board has recently made changes to the District 204 high school schedules, and the reopening of schools will be addressed as the proposed return for in-person begins next week. There has been another individual who tested positive for COVID-19 at Metea over the weekend. The school is following public health guidelines to minimize the spread of infection.

Remote Updates (Megan Drake)

Starting Nov. 30, students will be starting their new school schedule that will allow for a better transition into the return of in-person learning. This schedule will have all eight classes for 30 minute class periods. The return to in-person learning will depend on whether the DuPage County Health Department states that the community has been in moderate or minimal community transmission for two consecutive weeks.

Student involvement (Sydney Burleyson)
