Girls’ Swimming

The girls’ swim program is sending five girls to state in the form of three qualifying relay events and three qualifying individual events after their latest meet on Sat. Nov. 14. The program will be sending seniors Jacquelyn Kurkjian and Madie Sandberg along with sophomores Anna Scovill and Sadie Gregory to state for the medley relay event. Seniors Amanda Burson and Sandberg along with Gregory and Scovill will compete in the 200-yard freestyle relay event. The program will also be sending Burson, Kurkjian, Sandberg, and Scovill to state for the 400-yard freestyle relay event. In individual events, the program will be sending both Burson and Sandberg to state for the 100-yard freestyle event, and it’ll be sending Burson to state for the 50-yard freestyle event as well.
