When and why did you start playing baseball?
I started playing when I was five, and I played because I didn’t like soccer and wanted to try something new.
What does baseball mean to you?
Baseball is something I’ve enjoyed doing my whole life, and I’ve met some of my best friends through baseball. I enjoy the team aspect of it, and I have made great relationships with coaches and players through it.
What is different about club vs. school?
Travel ball is a little bit more competitive and has a little added pressure, school ball is fun and loose and you get to play with all of your friends.
How do you feel already having four home runs this early in the season?
It feels good knowing I’m having a good start to the year. I’m just hoping I can continue and help the team in any way I can.
What are your goals for the team for the rest of the season?
Our team goal is to always win a regional and that’s what we are hoping for this year. We would also like to win over 20 games and be better than last year.
How would you like to leave your mark as a senior?
I would like to be remembered as someone who just was a good teammate and who always had fun when I played.
