Recently, a video was taken of two students, featuring Jake Martin asking Emily DeAngelo to homecoming. The video has become very popular on social media, and has created a lot of buzz in the community. It’s even attracted multiple media outlets to contact the school and interview the two students.

Are you excited for Homecoming?
Jake: I am excited for Homecoming because I’m gonna dance!

Emily: I am so excited for Homecoming because I can dance with my boyfriend and dance with my best friends. And Mrs. Pehlke found this paper and gave it to me, and it said I got nominated for homecoming queen.

How do you feel about your video going viral?
Jake: I feel excited because it’s very fun and i’m really happy to watch it. It’s just really great.

Emily: I’m so happy, and I wanna be on the Ellen DeGeneres show. And everyone can watch it on TV, or on Youtube with me and Jake in it.

Why are you guys going with each other?
Jake: Emily is very nice and beautiful.

Emily: I like to hang out with Jake because he is very nice to me and he’s a great person to hang out with.

Jake, how did you come up with the idea to ask Emily?
Jake: I told my mom, and it was her idea to buy the cookies and the balloons, and me and Emily both like cookies.

Emily, how did you feel when Jake asked you to homecoming?
Emily: I was shocked and so excited, when he came out with the cookie and the balloons and he asked me to go to Homecoming with him, I said yes, and then I started crying!
