Students, administrators, and the jazz ensemble came together to celebrate the achievements of the staff at Metea Valley High School. “This is such an honor,” teacher Nathan Bramstedt said. “We are so lucky to afford to have the Indian Prairie Education Foundation, they go above and beyond to raise money for kids, and to recieve such a generous donation from them is just so exciting.”
As the jazz ensemble performed joyous holiday tunes, students and teachers congregated near the main office and posed for pictures with their favorite teachers, congratulated those whose hard work payed off, and high-fived Marty the Mustang.
The Indian Prairie Education Foundation granted Metea Valley High School a check of over $4000 to put towards programming for students. “[It’s] fun to celebrate Metea students. You guys are awesome,” English teacher Rebecca Walker said.

Mrs. Maloney spoke alongside other Indian Prairie administrators to congratulate the students and teachers that help to bring excitement for education to Metea Valley everyday. “It’s nice to be celebrated and appreciated for your hard work behind the scenes,” teacher and bowling coach Kristen Mansmith said.
Metea embraced the holiday spirit during third period, and congratulated those who worked hard to make a difference in our school establishment. “The turn out, the jazz band, and the confetti is a lot of fun,” Bramstedt added. “It’s all for the kids.”
The district prides itself in its dedication to its students, as well as the passion they have to make sure the students are getting the best education possible.
