Boys’ Golf (Jose Collado)

The Mustangs fell short of qualifying as a team after placing fourth in Regionals, but had four individual qualifiers. Two Sophomores, Arjus Vyas and Aman Shah, and two seniors, Scott Madland and Vignesh Srwarnum. Vyas finishes the round with a 79 and qualifies for IHSA State.

Girls’ Cross Country (Alex Bedore)

The girls’ cross country team competed in the Twilight race on Wednesday, coming in tenth, beating both District 204 rivals. They also competed in the West Aurora meet on Saturday. Their next meet is on Friday at the DuPage Valley Conference Meet.

Boys’ Cross Country (Tyler Perry)

The boys’ cross country team took part in two matches this past week, the Twilight Invite at Naperville North and the West Aurora Invite at West Aurora High School. In the Twilight Invite, the boys placed 27 out of 40 teams to set a new personal best. The boys will take place in conference this upcoming Saturday.

Girls’ Golf (Tyler Perry)

The Mustangs took six girls to compete in regionals at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course to end their season. They came in ninth place. Junior Ashley Hallissey led the team as she put up a score of 100.

Boys’ Football (Alex Bedore)

The football team played against DuPage Valley Conference rival, Neuqua Valley last Friday. The Mustangs put up 21 points but lost to the Wildcats. The boys play their next game is at Waubonsie on Friday.

Boys’ Soccer (Jose Collado)

Varsity was held to a 1-1 draw against Oswego East on Saturday. The boys were able to secure a 2-0 victory against Rockford Boylan to start the WarStang Invite on Monday behind a goal from sophomore Clarke Simonich. They continued their winning ways on Wednesday, defeating Wheaton Academy 3-1.

Girls’ Swim and Dive (Elena Buscher)

The girls’ took on Naperville North and DeKalb this past Tuesday. Mustangs took the win 89-84 against Naperville North and 89-12 against DeKalb. Their next meet is on Thursday at Neuqua Valley at 4:30.

Girls’ Tennis (Leland Pan)

The Mustangs finish capping their season last Friday at the DuPage Valley Conference. The girls head to IHSA Sectionals on Saturday.

Girls’ Volleyball (Elena Buscher)

The Mustangs took on the Waubonsie Warriors this past Tuesday. In the end, they fell short by losing in two sets. Their next match is this Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at DeKalb.
