Humans of Metea: OrganicLife Cafeteria Staff
Every day, the staff in the commons cafeteria serve thousands of students duing lunches and passing periods. The Stampede reached out to a few of the many employees who are involved in the lunchroom.

What do you like about working at Metea?
I like the interactions with the students when they come. I like having conversations with them and learning about them. And I like making food for them.
What do you do specifically in the lunchroom?
I make the stir fry, so the students wait in line. When they get to the front, they tell me what they want, and I stir it in.
How long have you worked at Metea?
I have worked here a year and a half.
What is your favorite part about working with the staff?
I really like working with the staff. Everybody is just friendly and very helpful which makes it a good experience.
What is your favorite lunchroom food?
I like the pizza and the stir fry because they are good. Also, I work at the stir fry station, so I am biased.

What do you like about working at Metea?
I really like the co workers and students.
What do you do specifically in the lunchroom?
I mostly ring up the students at the register. I am also in charge of replenishing all of the drinks.
How long have you worked at Metea?
I believe it is seven years here at Metea.
What is your favorite part about working with the staff?
I like that we all get along. We all seem to interact fairly well which makes it a good part about working with the staff.
What is your favorite food in the lunchroom?
I like the nachos the most.

I like being here. I like seeing the students here, and I like having conversations with the students.
What do you do specifically in the lunchroom?
I do work with the students. I am also the cashier for the school staff, so I serve them.
How long have you worked here?
I think this is my fifth year working here.
What is your favorite food in the lunchroom?
I would probably go with the pizza.
