Boys’ Baseball (Max Berglind)
The baseball team got swept in their series against Naperville Central, and they start the DVC tournament later this week.
Boys’ Lacrosse (Tyler Perry)
The boys’ lacrosse team had three matches last week. They faced Neuqua, Naperville Central, and Wheaton Academy. Their next game will be against Wheaton Warrenville South tomorrow.
Girls’ Lacrosse (Max Berglind)
The girls’ lacrosse team had two games last week and got a win against Naperville Central last Wednesday. They have one game this week, taking place against Neuqua on Monday.
Girls’ Soccer (Grace Davidson)
The girls beat Neuqua 5-0 last Tuesday but lost their match up against Naperville North 2-0 on Thursday. The team celebrated their seniors on Saturday and beat Wheaton Warrenville South 5-0. They start the week with an away game against Naperville Central on Tuesday and finish the week with a game against St. Charles East on Saturday.
Girls’ Softball (Max Berglind)
The softball team lost all three games last week, and they have two games later this week against Benet and at DeKalb.
Boys’ Tennis (Max Berglind)
The boys’ tennis team had three games last week and have two later this week, both against Neuqua .
Boys’ Track (Tyler Perry)
The boys’ track and field team did not compete in an event this week. There next match will be the DuPage County Invite this Thursday,
Girls’ Track (Grace Davidson)
The girls’ track team went up against Waubonsie, Naperville Central, Neuqua, and Naperville North on Friday. Kyla Harris placed second in the 200m and first in the 400m. Sarah Maggio snagged another win for the Mustangs in the 1600m race. Syy Ellison placed second in shot put with a personal record of 8.72m. To top all those wins off Metea placed first in the 4×400 relay and second in both the 4×200 and 4×100 relays. The girls now look forward to the DuPage county meet at DeKalb on May 27.
Boys’ Volleyball (Tyler Perry)
The boys’ volleyball team went 1-1 last week. They started the week off with a 2-0 loss to Benet. They redeemed themselves the following day as they beat Naperville Central 2-0. Their next game will be against Waubonsie.
Girls’ Water Polo (Max Berglind)
The girls’ water polo team had their IHSA sectional tournament at Naperville Central last week. Sadly the girls could not compete and they lost 15-1.
