About the Contributors
Azaa is the goat. This is her third year on staff for Newspaper Journalism. And get this, she’s SO cool that she’s the visuals editor. NOTHING gets past her. When she’s not taking photos or making graphics, she is most likely at the mall shopping for new clothes with money she doesn’t have because she’s just so cool. But you don’t have to tell her she’s cool because she already knows. The only con Azaa has is that she’s lowkey unc. #classof2026
Sakeenah Amatul is a senior and spotlight editor this year. This is her second year on staff. She enjoys talking to different people, listening to music, and doing anything exciting. Outside of school, you will find her drawing, writing, or reading.
Rameen is a first-year writer who sees storytelling as both art and adventure. Whether she’s digging into history, creating new pieces for her art portfolio, or weaving words together in the newsroom, she brings a free-spirited spark to her work. Outside of writing, you’ll probably catch her kayaking under the sun, sketching late at night, or chasing the next trail that calls her name. With a love for creativity, connection, and exploration, Rameen adds both warmth and originality to the team.
Lindsey is the Spotlight Editor of the Stampede, and this is her second year on Staff. She is involved in Best Buddies, Book Club, and the National English Honors Society here at Metea. When Lindsey is not writing, she can be found trying to predict the next Taylor Swift re-recording, reading, or re-watching Gilmore Girls.
