Boys’ Track and Field (Grace Cronin)

The boys’ competed against Romeoville on Friday. Their next meet is the Rocket Indoor Invite at Burlington Central this Friday. 

Girls’ Track and Field (Grace Davidson)

The Mustangs competed at the North Central College Cardinal Classic last Thursday. Sophomore Kyla Harris placed second in the 55 meter dash. Senior Sarah Maggio placed second in the 3200 meter. For the 4×400 relay, Metea placed second with senior runners Kelli Upton and Maria Lambert as well as sophomores Harris and Maya Hall. For the high jump, sophomore Annastasia Murphy placed second. Then the girls’ attended the Pete Hiemsath Invite on Saturday. Murphy was able to place first in the high jump this time. Their next meet is against Waubonsie Valley and Oswego High School this Saturday.
