What are your interests?

I enjoy cheerleading and hanging out with my friends. I am on the varsity cheer team and I plan to play girls’ soccer in the springtime.

How has cheerleading impacted your life?

Cheerleading for Metea has opened my eyes and allowed me to get out of my comfort zone. I made a lot of new friends and being part of a team made me more social.

What is your favorite memory from your school activities?

Going to state with my team is my favorite memory because I was able to travel with my teammates and compete with them. It was fun because they are not only my teammates but they are also my friends. I enjoyed going out to eat because it was a friendly environment.

What do you plan to pursue in the future?

When I leave high school I plan to travel the world. I have so many places I want to visit such as Italy, Hawaii and Machu Picchu in Peru.

What message would you give to other high schoolers?

Do not be scared to step outside of your comfort zone. Try new things and never let people tell you what you can or can not do. People will always try to underestimate you but if you have a goal and you stick with it, you can accomplish a lot.
