Sameer Pirzada is a senior at Metea. In school, he is involved in a variety of clubs and activities and is active outside of school as well. Keep reading to learn about his experience at Metea!
What are you involved in at Metea?
I am a legislator in Youth and Government, a leadership development club for students to take on roles such as legislators, attorneys, lobbyists, judges, and executive officials. I am on the executive board and work directly with the YMCA program board. I am also the president of the Rho Kappa Honors Society, which is an exclusive club for juniors and seniors to get involved in the social sciences in their community. Students take part in different service events to gain enough points to be inducted into the Honor Society in the Spring. Also, I am one of the six people from Metea at School District board meetings as a part of the Student Advisory Board. Outside of Metea, I play cricket.
Plans?
I want to major in Computer Science and Politics. Then, I later hope to pursue law school and become an Intellectual Property Attorney.
Message?
Get involved. Metea has so many opportunities for personal and career development, so go grab them!
Shoutout?
I would like to shout out all the teachers who have boosted me and given me a platform to succeed. Thank you to Mrs. Fuhrer, Mr. Gregory, Mrs. Neukirch, and Mr. Page.
