Why did you decide to go to NYU?

Well, for starters, everyone walks faster there. They have tons of global opportunities, and the atmosphere of being in the city fits perfectly with who I am. They also have exactly what I want in terms of academics.

What are you looking forward to at NYU?

The diversity and the connections brought by the city itself and the fact that I’m gonna be in the greatest city in the world so I get just as great food. And you know, professors who are literal geniuses.

What do you plan on studying?

I’m double majoring in finance and statistics. I’ve always really liked stats, and I just like math in general.

What do you plan on getting involved with in college?

Probably a business frat, actuarial society, quantitative finance society, and maybe intramural stuff. They also have a sort of puppy club where you can go pet puppies to relieve stress. I would very much like to be a part of that.

What are you going to miss about Metea?

My teachers, mostly. All of them really cared about making me love every subject and they helped me shape what I wanted to do with my life.
