Boys’ Basketball By Connor Smith
This past week, the varsity boys took two tough losses, losing 55-66 at Naperville Central on Tuesday and 47-65 at Wheaton North on Friday. The team will look to gain some momentum this week with two home games in front of the Mustang crowd. The varsity boys will host Waubonsie on Tuesday in the first ever “Metea Has Heart” game, and will also host Lake Park on Friday, as it will be the team’s annual Senior Night.
Girls’ Basketball By Kellie Foy
This past week in girls’ basketball, the sophomore team lost to Glenbard North 40-45. Varsity lost to Glenbard North, 39-41 on Saturday. The team also lost to Wheaton Warrenville South on Thursday, losing 32-55. The girls basketball unit has their last game of the season on Thursday at Joliet West.
Boys’ Swim and Dive By Zainie Qureshi
The boys had an accomplished week overall. They took fourth in the JV open meet Friday night. Freshmen placed last, but they still had several swimmers enter in the Varsity level, and Varsity placed fifth. While they didn’t place first, they had individually strong meets and are expecting some strong showings at sectionals.
Boys’ Hockey By Brittany Coates
The Warriors hockey team made the playoffs, winning 3-2 against Glenbard but losing 2-5 against OPRF. The team will continue to play on Friday against Naperville Central.

For real though who writes these articles, just because the Warriors lost 5-2 to the Huskies doesn’t mean it was Naperville North. Check your facts next time it’s called OPRF.
