The Stampede does not publish AI-generated content, with only specific and limited exceptions. As a publication, we are committed to upholding journalistic integrity and letting Mustang voices shine through, and the use of generative AI would interfere with that mission. Our reporters may use generative AI tools as a productivity tool to organize content, process data, and craft interview questions, but they will not use generative AI tools to create published copy.

For creative purposes, The Stampede may sometimes use Artificial Intelligence tools to explore, dissect, and examine the intricacies of AI technology as it develops. This includes but is not limited to using AI-generative language models for stories, AI-generated images, and AI-generated voices for podcasts.

The Stampede will always clearly disclaim when any content, published in any of its publications, is made with the assistance of AI.
