“Students such as White are tired of the culture of guns and violence that has been leading to such tragedies, making this protest in line with the recent walkouts on March 14 for the victims of Parkland.”
To the statement and video above: Sometimes we forget that violence can be used in a justified matter, and that it has before. The battle of Lexington and Concord which had shown that America wasn’t a servant to Britain, the Siege of Vicksburg to overpower the south in the civil war, the battle Somme to end world war one, the offensive on Normandy Beach during D-Day to liberate France, and the acts of the The Sutherland Springs and Maryland shooting’s heroes who prevented potentially terrible tragedies. The truth is that evil people will always exist, and as long as society can stand up to these people we will prevail. But we cannot disarm ourselves, especially with the American people being consumed by weakness. We are forgetting our roots. Our roots in strength, fairness, empowerment, and freedom.
I’m asking people to start looking out for each other and enforcing the free society we want so badly. Empower yourselves. Understand that one of the only equalizers that works in most dire situations is the firearm. Its the only insurance against any people taking to the extreme to harm you, your family, or your society. When people become stronger and more comfortable with the power they hold when they arm themselves, people who want to commit deranged acts will think again before acting. So, before people decide to march against this gun store, just know the people that work there arm themselves to protect themselves and their societies, which includes YOU.
To conclude, I want to say I’m sick of fighting people who I disagree with and I’m done with it. Instead of fighting, discrediting, or criticizing these people, I’m just asking for one thing. An equal chance to be listened to, and a chance to be heard. Therefore, I thank those who read this with an open mind, If you would want to talk more I’m open to do so.
