Girls’ Basketball (Jose Collado)

Khalia Reid, Jada Samuel, Amelia Szczesny, and Nikki Coryell were all-conference honorable mentions. Nyla Hart hit six three-pointers in the three-point shootout but came up short. Their season is now over.  

Boys’ Basketball (Tyler Perry)

The boys’ basketball team played their last game of the season. Their last game was against Waubonsie. The Mustangs were defeated by the Warriors to a score of 48-62. For team All-Conference, Myles Leavy and Kymari McBride made honorable mentions.

Boys’ Hockey (Elena Buscher)

The Warriors did not compete this week as they continue their preparations for the state playoff series. Their next game is today at 8:35 against Latin School.

Mens’ Track and Field (Tyler Perry)

The boys’ track and field team traveled to Hoonegeh last Saturday. Some highlights of the match were Virgil Steward’s first place in the 60m Dash. Riley Bernas and Evan Bach eighth and a ninth-place finish in the 200m Dash. Evan also finished first place in the 400m Dash and Brian Griffin was right behind him with a second-place finish. Their next meet will be held at Plainfield East this upcoming Saturday.

Girls’ Track and Field (Jose Collado)

The girls competed at Hinsdale over the weekend.

Boys’ Swim and Dive (Elena Buscher) 

The boys competed at the IHSA State meet this past weekend. Junior Jeddrick Gamilla made it to finals in the 100 breast, finishing in 9th place.
