Collage, Metea’s winter music concert, takes place the first week of December and showcases the entire fine arts department. Every band, orchestra, and choir class each have their own performance of a holiday or winter themed song, building up to the grand finale featuring the entire music department in a mix of multiple holiday carols. Choir teacher Paulette Boddy talks about the preparation behind Collage in the choir department.
“As soon as our fall concert ends, we give them the music the next week,” Boddy said “We essentially start in October, which is kind of a fast turnaround, normally, we have about eight to nine weeks to prepare for a concert.”
