After their summer camps and Mustang Mania, fall sports work hard at practice to prepare for their first game. Without much school work in the way, these athletes have an advantage while practicing because it is only the beginning of the year. The outlook for this year’s fall sports season looks promising.

Boys Varsity Soccer:

The Boys Varsity soccer team starts their season out on a high note winning three to zero against South Elgin. With goals from Erick Mena and assists from Abel Lopez, Senese, and Dan Wilkinson, the team was led to their first win of the season giving the players a very positive outlook on the rest of their season.

Boys Varsity Football:

Boys Varsity football started off their season at Mustang Mania last Friday. Despite the game being cut short, the players seem to be headed in the right direction for the season ahead of them due to their hard work during the scrimmage. This Friday, the team will play at Geneva. With three wins last year, the outlook for their season is hopeful.

Boys Golf:

On Tuesday, boys Varsity golf played in the Panther scramble at BlackBerry Oaks golf course and played a solid round shooting a collected 54. Last weekend, the JV players picked up a conference win in Dekalb with a team score of 165.
