The Metea Valley Athletics Department recently released new ways for family, students, and fans to follow closely with the school’s sports teams.
In October 2023, the Athletics Department announced the replacement for the old site with their new, updated sports website.
Following this came the arrival of the new sports app, Metea Valley Athletics, which is available on IOS and Android devices.
The main reason for the launch of the new site was to replace the old site, which has not been active for some time.
“The old website was asked twice to remove the platform and I was told it was handled,” athletic director Matthew Fehrmann said. “To my surprise, this Fall, it’s still up and running.”
The Athletics Department has requested VNN Sports, who manages the website, to shut it down and have been told that it was taken care of.
“[We have been] unsuccessful in connecting with anyone or getting our calls/emails returned after being told initially it was handled,” Fehrmann said. “Moving forward, please use our App for up-to-date information, schedules, streaming options, and more.”
