Metea Valley pep assembly sets high spirits

During work overload and busy schedules for so many students, the winter pep assembly was a fun way to give students a much-needed break during the school day. While providing an entertaining break for students, the assembly also brought Mustang pride. It consisted of awards and congratulations being given and entertaining performances.

Luisa Bernardino

Luisa is a senior in her third year in the Journalism Staff. Now as the Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine, meaning that she is thinking about design layouts eight times out of 10. When she isn’t drawing, she is probably reading about Greek mythology, studying, or listening to music.

Struan Somerville

Struan is a junior and is the multimedia editor for the Stampede and Metea Media. This is his second year and you can find him in the Marching Mustangs Color Guard, the musical theatre program, shredding on the viola, or just hitting a boogie around life. A giant extrovert, and lovessss being a thespian (:

Ryder Preston Brown

Ryder is a senior, and this is his third year on staff as Website Editor-in-Chief, podcaster, and videographer. He enjoys building upon what he has started, listening to music until he becomes one with the frequency, and writing like a philosopher from 320 BCE. If you can’t find him walking (or usually running) around, he’s most likely already planning for the next big thing, or for the future in general. (Don’t be afraid to harass him about music by the way).

Rayma Miller

Rayma Miller is a Senior and this is her second year on staff as Perspectives Editor, but her third year on the Newspaper staff. Apart from The Stampede, she is a part of the varsity softball team and Captains Council. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, shopping, reading, and watching movies.
