The Aurora City Council voted in favor to purchase more riot gear but there are many who disagree with this decision.

The Aurora City Council voted in favor of purchasing 150 new sets of riot gear for police officers at their meeting in September by an 8-3 majority. The aldermen approved the decision after many people found the riot gear to be a necessary move in the right direction. However, there is a significant amount of people who think otherwise, and see this as needless spending for Aurora.
