Girls’ Basketball (Jose Collado)

The girls had one game this week. They lost 43-46 to Central on Tuesday at home despite keeping it close all game. They will go play against Waubonsie tomorrow at  7:00 p.m. 

Boys’ Basketball (Tyler Perry)

The varsity team played two games this past week. Their first game was at Wheaton North. They were down for most of the game but came back and won it by a score of 48-46. Their last game was at Waubonsie where they lost to a score of 51-66. They will defend home court today against Oswego East at 7:00 p.m.

Sophomore Sydney Lewis is taking part in the “Strikeout for Cancer” fundraiser and is trying to lead her team to a win.

Girls’ Bowling (Tyler Perry)

The varsity team had some of their most important matches this past week. They had their senior night on Wednesday. On Senior night they just barely pulled off the win against Glenbard East. On Thursday, every team in the conference came to Lisle Lanes and played a conference match. The Mustangs were able to come out on top and won the DVC trophy. They look to continue their undefeated season Tuesday against Willowbrook.

Girls’ Gymnastics (Leland Pan)

The Warstangs celebrated Senior Night with a season-high of 135.05 last Thursday. Later in the week, the girls competed at the Niles West invite. Senior Thalia Bown placed fifth on vault. The girls will head to the DuPage Valley Conference this Friday.

Boys’ Hockey (Elena Buscher)

The boys started the week off with the All-Star Game at Willowbrook high school on Tuesday. Senior Zach Pearce was selected to play alongside other Warrior teammates from Waubonsie. They then played Naperville North on Thursday, winning 6-3. Lastly, they played Glenbard on Sunday. Their next game is on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against Wheaton West at All Seasons Ice Rink. 

Special Olympics Basketball (Leland Pan)

The Mustangs had no games last week. They will continue practicing for ‘Pack the Place’ on Feb. 4 at 6 p.m.

Jessica Velazquez The Mustangs placed sixth overall at the DuPage Valley Conference this past weekend.

Boys’ Wrestling (Alex Bedore)

The Mustangs competed at the DVC Meet on Saturday. They will have two meets next week, at Bolingbrook on Wednesday, and Oak Lawn on Thursday.

Boys’ Swim and Dive (Elena Buscher)

The boys’ competed against Neuqua on Thursday. The boys also swam at Downers Grove North for the DGN invite, placing third overall. Their next meet is Senior night on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. against Waubonsie.
