Girls’ Volleyball By Sameen Ali
This week, Girls’ volleyball started off with a home game against Wheaton North. Varsity played tough, but lost 16-25 and 17-25 to their opponent. The sophomore girls won their two sets, bringing their conference record to 4-0. They continued to dominate on Thursday, winning their match against against Waubonsie Valley. The Lady Mustangs will be playing against Lake Park and Wheaton Warrenville South this week.

Boys’ Football By Kellie Foy
The varsity team took a tough loss against the Wheaton Warrenville South Tigers this past week for their homecoming game with a final score of 48-27. While varsity’s record is now 2-5, the freshman and sophomore teams beat the Tigers. This upcoming week, all three football teams will be facing the Glenbard North Panthers at home.

Boys’ Soccer By Connor Smith
This past week, Varsity opened the week with a 1-2 loss to St. Charles East on Monday. However, they gained momentum with a 3-2 win over Wheaton Warrenville South on Tuesday, and a 2-2 tie to West Chicago on Wednesday. Ryan Barry played a key role, as he scored goals in both games. JV1 tied Waubonsie 0-0 on Monday and took a tough 0-1 loss to Wheaton Warrenville South on Tuesday. David Brancato was stellar in net for both games. Although JV2 lost to Glenbard West 0-2 on Tuesday, they managed to get the 1-1 tie against Wheaton Warrenville South on Wednesday with a last minute goal from Jorge Diaz. Finally, Freshman had a huge game on Monday, shutting out Waubonsie 6-0 featuring a hat trick from Jorge Samayoa.

Girls’ Golf By Brianna Powell
The varsity Lady Mustangs took on the IHSA regional tournament last week. Both sophomore Madison Neihart and senior Madison Grezlik advanced to the Lockport Township sectional tournament. Grezlik had a career best performance of 90, while Neihart shot a 95. The sectional meet will be held at the Broken Arrow golf course on Tuesday. Good luck!

Boys’ Golf By Brianna Powell
Varsity boys’ golf competed in the IHSA regional tournament, taking the tournament championship title with a team total of 319. This marked the program’s first regional title. Sophomore Scott Boyajian walked away with the individual champion title, shooting a 76. On Monday, the varsity team competed at the tough IHSA sectionals, held at the Blackberry Oaks, shooting a team total of 340. Senior Jack Dziewiatkowski led the Mustangs during the match, shooting an 81. Congratulations on a great season!
